Crash this art room!

This year I totally crashed my high school art room.  I got rid of lots of furniture from old tables, chairs, stools, filing cabinets, cabinets, etc.  This made for LOTS more floor space and wall space!  Here's what I added...

I found this idea on mrspicassosartroom.blogspot.com.  I ran out of crayons! Colorful duct tape makes for a great boarder!!

Another "Color Family Portraits" wall.

All of the students have their projects and assignment on their iPads.  Just incase technology fails us I have both Art 1 and Advanced Art project packets available for everyone to see.

Here is a large bulletin board with the elements and principles.  After every project my students have to write about which elements and principles they've used, these visuals really help.

As I collect college information this year I just pin it up here for interested students.

Here's another idea found on mrspicassosartroom.blogspot.com, I framed the tornado, fire, and lockdown signs by the door.

All of these ideas were found on Pinterest.

 My sink area.
This table will make me super organized this year!  Right??

After students hand in their artwork and rubrics they check their names off.

Here students write about the elements and principles that they used in their projects.
This completed after each project is turned in.

Here are columns of shelves, where everyone stores their artwork.

I was excited to finally have this plastic wrap hung on the wall.  My OCD would have liked it right under the window, but I can deal with it!

My classroom consists of "two" rooms, this is where the kids work on their projects.
My desk area.
This is the storage part of my room.
This is the view from the door.
