Sharpies, paint, and paper! Oh my!: My 8th grade did an art version of "Chopped" today. I divided them into groups and they each received the same four "ingredients". (Straws, wood, paper clips, and paint chips from the hardware store). They made awesome creations in about 30 minutes. When the time was up we had three judges listen to why they created what they did. The judges were then able to ask questions. In so proud of the groups who thought outside of the box. I remember doing this in college, but it didn't get the cool "Chopped" theme! #chopped #middleschool
