Many things have happened since my last post....
**I've accepted a new position with Continental Schools.  This was a bittersweet and emotional decision, I'll be leaving my home away from home Hicksville family and in August I'll start teaching k-12 art at Continental.

**I held my last art show at Hicksville.  We raised over $3,600 by selling our students framed artworks!!  Unfortunately I won't be around to spend the earnings!  Lucky for Hicksville's new art teacher! :)

**One of my students artworks has been chosen in a contest called "All Kids Can Create" to be displayed in the Martin Luther King Jr. Library in Washington D.C.!!  Only 102 artworks have been chosen nationwide!  I am so proud of him!
